- Kelp proteins are highly digestible similar to that of a good quality fodder, making it a good source of protein for ruminants. Supplementation with Kelp protein increases sufficient microbial protein and rumen protein which all increase the content metabolizable Amino Acids required in high-producing dairy cows.
